In fact, we suggest that children start visiting the dentist as early 1 years old for something as simple as having a 'ride in the chair' on mum or dads lap. This, along with playing with toys and masks and gloves helps establish a positive experience at the dentist to last a lifetime!
Decay develops faster in kids than it does in adults, so it's vital for kids to have their teeth checked every 6 months to see if they are taking good care of teeth. With a regular dental routine, we can help them keep their teeth (Adult ones) for life!

Child Dental Benefit Schedule
Seeing a Sunshine Coast children's dentist doesn't have to be expensive. The Child Dental Benefit Schedule or CDBS is a Government initiative scheme where eligible children between aged 2-18 have $1000 worth of dental treatment over a two-year period under Medicare.
Eligibility is assessed by the QLD/Sunshine Coast government and you can call us with your child's Medicare details to check if they are eligible.

This allows us to provide the highest quality of care without you worrying about the cost of your kids dental treatment. *Cosmetic and Orthodontic treatment is currently not covered under this scheme.
